Our stay at Metzenhof Golfpark was a delightful escape into the tranquil Austrian countryside. The spacious rooms exuded comfort and charm, with a large bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were modern amenities that added convenience to our stay.Although we didn't come for golf, the hotel's surrounding 18-hole course created a picturesque backdrop. The on-site restaurant offered a taste of traditional Austrian cuisine, and we savored every bite of our breakfast, complete with perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs. The children's playground and free parking were a bonus for families traveling with little ones.The staff, while not overly engaging, provided satisfactory service, ensuring our needs were met during our short visit. The quiet ambiance of the motel was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, the advertised swimming pool turned out to be a disappointment, resembling more of a garden pond than a recreational spot.Although the location was a bit secluded, requiring a drive to reach nearby attractions like Linz, the peaceful surroundings lent themselves well to a relaxing stay. Metzenhof Golfpark offered a pleasant retreat, perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway amidst the Austrian countryside.
